Paint Correction is a precision machine polishing process which all the aspects of the detailing process and safely restores and rejuvenates marred and faded automotive paintwork by the elimination and reduction of surface defects and oxidation restoring a razor-sharp glossy and silky-smooth finish.

There are many types of surface defects although two of the most common are swirls and buffer trails all of which cause hazing and dulling in the paintwork.

The swirls will have been improper wash techniques or the use of a drive through automated car wash were as the buffer trails will have been caused by the unexperienced use of a machine polisher.

Oxidation which is the dulling of the paintwork, there are two main causes of this the uv. rays from the sun and the unexperienced use of strong car wash chemicals.

The Paint Correction Treatments are undertaken with the use of various sizes of dual action and rotary polishing machines, specialist polishes from Car Tec and, Koch Chemie and Gyeon and a range specialist polishing pads and Lake Country Manufacturing and Flexi-Pad

Prior to any Paint Correction being undertaking a paintwork assessment must be completed.

SINGLE STAGE paint CORRECTION detail

The Single Stage Correction Detail is a single stage precision machine polishing process where I aim to deliver 40% – 60% defect removal and also restore surface gloss, colour enhancement and clarity back into the paintwork.

A range of state of the art sealants from Polish Angel and Gyeon are applied to the paintwork, wheels and glass to add protection.

Wheel faces and inner barrels are cleaned using a non-acidic cleaning product and various soft detailing brushes.
Tyres are cleaned using a designated tyre cleaner and tyre scrub brush.
Wheel arches, fuel filler, door and boot shuts are cleaned using a citrus based all-purpose cleaner and various detailing brushes.
Bodywork pre-wash rinse to remove any loose dust or dirt.
Citrus pre-wash to remove road film and bugs.
Snow foam is applied and left to dwell whilst badges, grilles, window seals and panel gaps are cleaned using a citrus based all-purpose cleaner and soft detailing brushes.
Vehicle bodywork is shampooed using the two-bucket grit guard safe wash process, plush microfiber wash mitts and a Decon shampoo for a deeper clean and the perfect start to a multistage decontamination process.
Rinse vehicle.
Multi stage decontamination. Iron fallout removal from bodywork, wheels and glass. Tar removal from bodywork, door shuts and wheels. Clay bar paintwork and glass.
Bodywork, wheels, fuel filler, boot and door shuts are all dried using a hot air blower and plush drying towels.
Badges and delicate edges are taped up.
Single stage machine polish carried out to remove 40% – 60% of defects.
Polish Angel Esclate Lotion is applied to paintwork and wheels to prime the surface prior to applying Polish Angel Master Sealant for protection
Polish Angel Master Sealant is massaged into the paintwork and wheel faces. Master Sealant is a high performing state of the art creme wax that will create an unrivalled hydrophobic, super slick, high gloss finish and state of the art protection for 6 – 8 months with the correct aftercare.
Polish Angel Presto is applied to paintwork and wheels to further enhance surface gloss and slickness.
Door shuts and bright work are enhanced.
Glass and mirrors are cleaned.
Gyeon Q2 Quick View is applied to windows and mirrors. Q2 Quick View is premium glass sealant which will improve all round better vision and smoother wiper action in wet weather condition. Quick View is durable for 6 months (ceramic coating upgrade available).
Chrome tailpipes are cleaned, polished and protected.
Tyres are dressed to enhance.
Plastic trims are enhanced.
Windscreen washer bottle toped-up.
Final check over and inspection prior to customer collection ensuring the Valet Solutions high standards are maintained.

The Minor Correction is a two-stage machine polishing process where I aim to deliver 70% – 85% defect removal and also restore extreme surface gloss, colour enhancement and clarity back into the paintwork.

Polish Angel Gold Zirkon is applied to paintwork and wheels to further enhance surface gloss and slickness.
Glass and mirrors are cleaned.

The Major Correction is a multi-stage machine polishing process where I aim to deliver 90% – 95% defect removal and also restore extreme surface gloss, colour enhancement and clarity back into the paintwork.

A range of state of the art sealants from Polish Angel and Gyeon are applied to the paintwork, wheels and glass to add protection.

On completion of the Major Correction Detail a truly breath-taking transformation will be achieved that will transform your vehicle into a show-stopping masterpiece!
